Hello from us here at the Kenelm Youth Trust, we really hope you are managing to enjoy your summer break!

With A-Level Results Day fast approaching, many young people will be considering their next steps and thinking about what the future holds.

It is not too late for those aged 18-25 to apply to join the Kenelm Youth Trust Mission Team this year.
Whether they are thinking about deferring university, taking a gap year, reconsidering their options after results day, or simply looking for an unforgettable year before moving on to university or employment, joining our Mission Team could be the perfect opportunity.

As a member of Mission Team, young adults will:
  • Grow in confidence, faith and leadership
  • Live and work as part of a supportive community
  • Make lifelong friendships
  • Gain valuable experience working with children and young people
  • Develop skills that will benefit them in future study and employment
  • Have opportunities to gain outdoor education qualifications
  • Enjoy a year full of adventure, challenge and personal growth
For many team members, this is just the beginning of their journey with us.

There are opportunities to develop further through apprenticeships, and some former team members have even gone on to become members of staff at our retreat centres.

If a young person is looking for a year that will inspire, challenge and equip them for the future, we'd love to hear from them.

"Working on the team helped me develop the confidence to integrate smoothly into new groups, such as different rotations during my medical training. That experience has been invaluable, and now, as a Doctor, I still draw on the skills I developed during my time on team. It also gave me some lovely foundations in prayer that I continue to use when I’m unable to attend Sunday Mass due to shift work.” - Sian (Doctor) - Alton team 2018-2019

We are still accepting applications for this year, so please encourage anyone interested to get in touch as soon as possible.
