Sacramental Preparation

Once again our program aspires to form Disciples alive in Christ willing and able to share the Gospel message. To fervently bring other souls into wholeness and newness of life with the Holy Spirit!

Our wonderful Primary school ensures a full and inspiring programme of sacramental preparation for those children in our Year 3 group.

We believe in forming the child where they are. In that mindset The Abbey Catholic Primary School strives to make classes fun and engaging with games, art activities, time for social sharing, and time for individual reflection. We believe that parents are the best teachers of the faith for their child and we make every effort to support parents in taking on that role. We encourage all of our families to attend the 9.15 family mass each Sunday.

What if my child doesn't attend a Catholic school?

There is no barrier to receiving the Eucharist as a Catholic child and this also includes those children in our parish who do not attend a Catholic school. Please contact the parish office to enquire about our sacramental programme.
